Here at Nuneaton Taekwon-Do we're firm believers that Taekwon-Do is for everybody, regardless of age or ability. A club is nothing without it's members and every month we'll be introducing you to one of our students.

Our Student Spotlight for November 2019 is Danny, a 1st kup who trains in our Adult and Advanced classes.

Why did you start Taekwon-Do?

I started Taekwon-Do 9 years ago.  I started Taekwon-Do because I wanted to do a sport and to improve my fitness.


What’s your favourite part of training?

My favourite part of Taekwon-Do is sparring because you get to practice your moves on other people.


What is your favourite part of Nuneaton TKD?

I like being part of Nuneaton TKD because it’s a nice atmosphere and good experienced coaches.


What are you looking forward to next in Taekwon-Do?  What are your goals for 2020?

Looking forward to getting more fitter and doing more tournaments.


Where do you see yourself in 5 years

Hopefully have my black belt.


What has been the hardest challenge you have had to overcome at training?

Going in front of everyone trying to do a 360 jump.


What piece of advice would you give to someone just starting out?

Train hard to get good results.


And finally, what do you like to do outside of training?

Play football and watch football.
