Visit to the 1st Wolvey Scouts
Nuneaton TKD demonstration for the Cubs
On Monday night Nuneaton Taekwon-Do instructor Danielle Williams IV Dan visited the 1st Wolvey Scouts
to teach the Cubs about Martial Arts and physical activity
as part of their Spy Badge.
Accompanied by Bethany Frisby II Dan and junior students Noah and Freya, the Scouts were taught basic Taekwon-Do kicks and punches
and learnt the first part of Saju Jirugi (4-directional punching). After a special technique breaking demonstration
by Bethany, the Scouts then took part in a game of tag sparring
before rounding off the evening with a range of exercises to help build strong bodies and develop stamina and fitness.
Miss Williams was impressed with the great attitude all of the Scouts brought to session and hopes that enjoyed their introduction to Taekwon-Do and the Martial Arts.
Thank you to Bethany, Noah and Freya for their assistance and for Mr Amadeo for taking photos and videos throughout the session.
The Nuneaton TKD instructors are available for demo lessons at schools, youth groups and other community groups. To learn more about us take a look at our programmes for Children, Teens and Adults or Contact Us to enquire about our demonstrations.
