2020 is the Year of the Rat ๐ ้ผ (Shว)
Legend has it that the Jade Emperor challenged all the animals to a great race to decide who should guard the Heavenly Gate. The quick-thinking Rat tricked the Ox into carrying him across the river to win the race and become the first animal of the zodiac.
The Rat is associated with wealth and optimism, independence and imagination.

Our team achieved fantastic results at the UKTA English Open, earning 11th place overall with 4 Golds in Patterns and outstanding performances all round.
Nuneaton TaekwonโDo students impressed at the GTI English Open in Hinckley, earning multiple medals and showcasing strong martial arts talent and teamwork.
EmpowHER returns on Wednesday 4th March with a refreshed 8-week ladies-only martial arts–inspired fitness course at Nuneaton Taekwon-Do, including a free pair of boxing gloves for all participants.
Nuneaton TKD instructors attended the ITF Umpire Course in Dublinto gain the latest updates on ITF tournament rules. Continued umpire education ensures our black belts uphold excellence, fairness, and professionalism at every level of TaekwonโDo.

Nuneaton Taekwon-Do competitors excelled at the 2025 Birmingham Open in Nechells, topping the medal table with 9 gold, 12 silver and 4 bronze medals across Patterns, Sparring and Dragon's Tail events.
