UKTA London Open 2019
Success for Nuneaton TKD Blackbelts
Following on from their success in the BTF British Championships, Nuneaton TKD and ITF England squad membersLibby and Beth entered the UKTA London Open on Sunday 7th July.
Yet another early morning start, Libby was first up in the Junior Female I Dan Blackbelt Patterns
. Repeating her great performance at the British, Libby went the distance to make it to the Final and secure Gold.
Not to be outdone, Beth also put in a great performance also winning Gold in the Junior Female II Dan Blackbelt Patterns
.
Rounding off the day with Sparring, Libby worked hard to obtain Bronze in the Junior Female Blackbelt -64kg Sparring
and Beth successfully beating fellow ITF England squad members to take Gold in the same division.
Both Ladies are now working hard towards the ITF World Championships in Plovdiv, Bulgaria at the end of August.
