BTF National Blackbelt Seminar & Grading - 21st September 2021
On Sunday 21st November, Nuneaton TKD hosted the British Taekwon-Do Federation National Seminar & Grading conducted by BTF President Grandmaster Wayne Brown IX.
16 of our students were in attendance with this being the first seminar for some of our colour belts. Throughout the day Grandmaster Brown covered fundamental movements, patterns, step sparring and knife sparring in detail before presiding over the Blackbelt grading.
This was the first BTF event since the start of the pandemic and it was great to see everyone again and train together. Congratulations also to those that successfully passed their blackbelt examinations (including our own Mr Ian Frisby II).
Thank you to Grandmaster Brown and our extended Taekwon-Do family for coming to join us in Nuneaton, looking forward to a busy 2022.

Congratulations to Nuneaton TKD instructor Mr Ian Frisby on his successful promotion to II Dan!
After a 6 hour seminar covering all Taekwon-Do syllabus from fundamental movements to patterns to sparring systems, Mr Frisby tested in front of a panel led by BTF President Grandmaster Wayne Brown IX alongside candidates from Brown's Taekwon-Do, GG Taekwon-Do and Taekwon-Do Arc Wales.
