Beth & George named Everyone Active Sporting Champions!

Congratulations to our Blackbelts Beth Frisby and George Wright who have been selected as Everyone Active Sporting Champions for the 2020/21 season!
Everyone Active, who run several of Nuneaton and Bedworth's sports facilities including the Pingles, Jubilee Centre and Bedworth Leisure Centre, have been supporting amateur athletes with their Sporting Champions
programme since 2016. Those selected to be Sporting Champions
receive free membership to all Everyone Active facilities, support from mentors such as GB Olympian Colin Jackson, and the possibility of financial sponsorship.
Beth and George are two of our most successful Blackbelt competitors and had been chosen to represent ITF England at the European Championships in Prague
(however due to COVID-19 this event was cancelled). Attending European Championships like this can cost competitors around £1000 just to get there, never mind the equipment costs or costs associated with training on this level. Everyone Active's support will be invaluable for Beth and George in the run up to next year's competition season.

Our team achieved fantastic results at the UKTA English Open, earning 11th place overall with 4 Golds in Patterns and outstanding performances all round.

Nuneaton Taekwon‑Do students impressed at the GTI English Open in Hinckley, earning multiple medals and showcasing strong martial arts talent and teamwork.
EmpowHER returns on Wednesday 4th March with a refreshed 8-week ladies-only martial arts–inspired fitness course at Nuneaton Taekwon-Do, including a free pair of boxing gloves for all participants.
Nuneaton TKD instructors attended the ITF Umpire Course in Dublinto gain the latest updates on ITF tournament rules. Continued umpire education ensures our black belts uphold excellence, fairness, and professionalism at every level of Taekwon‑Do.
