Q: When’s the best time to discover your passion? A: Now!

Taekwon-Do is sometimes portrayed as being a young persons' activity but it’s showing increasing popularity with parents and the over 30’s.

Why is that?


1. Build your body and your mind.

As we grow older it is important that we take care of our bodies and minds so we can continue to live life to the full. Taekwon-Do is proven to develop strength, mobility, and flexibility and will teach you about your own body and how to breakdown barriers that might be stopping you from doing more. In addition to the physical benefits, Taekwon-Do incorporates elements of meditation and mindfulness to help improve concentration and memory, and relieve stress.


2. Learn to defend yourself

Sadly, in today’s world, anyone can be a victim of crime; young or old, male or female. Taekwon-Do provides the tools and confidence to be able to defend yourself, and provides the discipline to know when to use those tools.


3. Join a community

Taekwon-Do is an activity that attracts people from all walks of life. There's something to be said about the camaraderie of a Taekwon-Do class; everyone of all abilities train hard together and working towards one common goal. The global Taekwon-Do community is one of the most welcoming and by joining a class you can be sure to form new and lasting friendships.


4. Get closer to your family

Taekwon-Do is great fun for all the family and can engage the young and old. It is a key part of Taekwon-Do to share in each others successes and families can work together and support each other in their martial arts journey.


5. Challenge yourself!

All students at Nuneaton Taekwon-Do are supported to develop at their own pace and our instructors will work with you to achieve your goals whether that be to earn your next belt or simply to get fitter and stronger.
