Congratulations to George Wright I Dan Blackbelt
On Sunday 14th July, Nuneaton Taekwon-Do instructors Miss Danielle Williams IV, Miss Natalie Williams III, Mr Ian Frisby I and 1st kup George Wright travelled to Hereford for the BTF National Seminar and Blackbelt grading.
The day began at 10:00 am with a comprehensive seminar by BTF President Grandmaster Brown covering all aspects of Taekwon-Do patterns and techniques. After the conclusion of the seminar, Blackbelt assessments began.
George was one of 11 candidates testing for 1st to 3rd degree and was asked to demonstrate patterns, sparring, self defence and special breaking techniques.
After successfully completing his required breaks and answering questions related to the history and technical theory of Taekwon-Do, George was scored the highest marks on the day and was awarded his I degree Blackbelt.

EmpowHER returns on Wednesday 4th March with a refreshed 8-week ladies-only martial arts–inspired fitness course at Nuneaton Taekwon-Do, including a free pair of boxing gloves for all participants.
Nuneaton TKD instructors attended the ITF Umpire Course in Dublinto gain the latest updates on ITF tournament rules. Continued umpire education ensures our black belts uphold excellence, fairness, and professionalism at every level of Taekwon‑Do.
Congratulations to the those students that successfully graded on Sunday 30th November 2025 at the Dojang. An excellent standard, especially from our youngest students!
Nuneaton Taekwon-Do competitors excelled at the 2025 Birmingham Open in Nechells, topping the medal table with 9 gold, 12 silver and 4 bronze medals across Patterns, Sparring and Dragon's Tail events.
